Knidos is an ancient city located on the Western most point of Asia where the Aegean Sea meets the Mediterranean Sea. It was a vitally important trading port

and was especially known in the days of Ancient Greece for a “scandalous” but also

sacred sculpture of a naked Athena displayed in the centre of the city.
